Greetings all my Brethren,

Well, as our first quarter of the year is complete with our installation of officers and we are preparing for our degree conferrals starting in February. A thank you to all of our past officers and a special thank you to all the newly elected and appointed officers of the Lodge of Perfection and Chapter of Rose Croix. With our officers, we appointed a new Director of Work, Bro. Barry Braun, 32­°.

With our Maundy Thursday and Reunion Day in the past, we are looking forward to our June meeting to honor our long term members and those who have rendered special service over the years.

We will be sending representatives to the Supreme Council Leadership Conference April 20^th & 21^st. This is a great event for our future leaders of Scottish Rite Masonry.

I invite all brother Scottish Rite Masons of the different valleys to come and visit with us at our regular meetings or at our breakfast meeting held at the Barbara Fritchie Restaurant, on the first Thursday of each month. This is really a very good fellowship time with great speakers. We meet every month.

Remember, we will be “dark” during July and August for our Lodge and Chapter meetings, but during this time we will still be visiting the sick and home bound and give them our support.

So, let us all join together and make 2012 a great year for the Scottish Rite and enjoy the Rite News of Maryland.
